- The 2026 Taichung Jazz Festival (臺中爵士音樂節) runs 10/16 (Fri) to 10/25 (Sun), mainly around Citizen Square (市民廣場) and the Calligraphy Greenway (草悟道) area. The two weekends at either end are the busiest.
- The CTBC Brothers (中信兄弟) have already qualified for the 2026 Taiwan Series (台灣大賽). Games at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium are scheduled for 10/24 (Sat), 10/25 (Sun) and 10/26 (Mon); if the series is decided early, the remaining games are cancelled.
